yahoo auctions has plenty of 2000 to 4000 yen seats for suzuki lapin, daihatsu gino and other kei cars which would cost for freight but are incredible quality that fit in 1200s.

Just got some Mira Gino seats which is a retro mini cooper like car with awesome retro seats

Those CRX seats have very similar mounting area to the Honda Prelude seats I scored for my coupe.

We can never have too many 1200-related photos! Have you seen the mounting instructions for those seats?

As I recall those later Prelude seats bolt flat to the floor

If so you might be able to do like these, which keeps them mounted low

Bolt angle stock to the original bolt holes
Then bolt seat to the angle

Daihatsu seats may fit, but so do plenty of seats out of larger cars -- look at how nice those S14 seats fit a 1200. My favorite seat in my 1200 was Ford Thunderbird Turbo seat, though they were about as big as you'd want to put in, they restricted rear seat (2-dr) access somewhat
