#1 A13 h62 head help?
LoserMachine Posted on: 2016/10/28 19:25
Hey guys I was able to source a new in box a13 h62 head. I am trying to find valves for it now. The h62 uses a14 valves correct? And a14&15 use the same size also? All the valves I can find are for the a14&15 but they say the length is 3.931" -99.84mm. According to the tech wiki a13 h62 uses 103.5mm I'm guessing these valves do not interchange correct?

Also I made a mistake in Machining my flanges. I machined to fit a14 instead of 13 by accident can this be ported out or will I hit a water jacket?

Check Rockauto.com, Nissan 1974 B210 engine Intake/exhaust valves. They list length and head size $3.64 each

Wiki say it takes A14 valves (see Cylinder Head Part Numbers: H62 ). H62 valves are what most A14/A15 heads use. The 100mm valves are the rare ones, only used by late.model emission heads

I doubt if you could port it far nough. Isnt it a round port head which the factory ported out? As is, its the best flowing head for 6000 RPM use on an A12. If u port it bigger it will raise the RPM or more likely hinder the flow
