windscreen rubbers advice

I need new rubbers for the whole car 9 Datsun 1200 coupe), however I'm trying to make up my mind on getting:
1. the conventional rubber trim and having to buy new chrome filler which is very expensive, or; 2. Buying the one piece rubbers. Has anyone had experience with the once piece rubbers and what are your thoughts?
