no dash pad required on that sharp edge dahs wow! very easy safety rules there

There are no safety rules in most states, only federal safety regulations, and never again inspected after the first sale. Hawaii is one that has an annual safety inspection but they only look at the tread, the lights and the glass (especially window tinting)

When it was on offer a while back as a recently retired racecar, the owner sent along some detailed pictures showing a remarkable lack of corrosion, despite it being run on the Bonneville Salt Flats. He must have thoroughly rinsed it with fresh water upon his return home, otherwise it would be just a heap of iron oxide by now.

The only thing I can find about it being run on the salt is photos of it at El Mirage (not Bonneville). No indication of any official racing attempts
