One thing that makes the 257 type fog lights better -- they are adjustable pivoting (unlike the previous types which were fixed)
Can't find any photos of a Coupe with foglights, except two brochures. The clear one might be the 257. They appear to fasten to the top of the front bumper

Do these work to see through the fog? We don't get fog very often
Found this for sale on Yahoo Auctions. Judging by the 'S' on the lens, this just might be an original B110 option. If it is it would be the H1012 unit (the only rectangular B110 fog light). Newer units like B210/B310 don't have stud mounts

been wondering how these attach to the car...
Here is the bracket (stay) for the Nissan Type 257. Maybe it clamps to the bumper. Or maybe you have to drill holes in the bumper? They don't look the stamped metal part in the diagram, but they are the correct part number And here are generic/aftermarket brackets

On the back of the grille are two brackets that look like the 1200 sedan grille mounting brackets
On the 1400 these are actually the fog lamp brackets (#8 in the parts diagram) You can view topic.
