angrywabbit at MtCotton's hairpin on Monday
I don't think I've linked this photo before. This is from Dec last year, steve cremin's 1200 coupe under 2l Sport Sedan. I think it had an SR20. great action shot! of what can happen when it goes wrong there's also been a number of rollovers there this year: http://members.fortunecity.com/qrda/mc-may/neil-lewis-roll.jpg http://members.fortunecity.com/qrda/hrcc-hillclimb/kevin-gray-roll1.jpg http://members.fortunecity.com/qrda/hrcc-hillclimb/laurie-longlands.jpg

Good pics but not so for the rollover/crash owners. Were all accidents from the one meeting?

that crash into the fence and the cortina rollover happened at Monday's meeting, and both Z's rolled at the previous Historic meeting about a month ago. There's only been those 2 events so far this year. I've haven't seen so many serious crashes out there in the whole of the previous 2 years I've been going there.
The next meeting at the end of the month is the QLD Championships.

Fine line beween 10 tenths and 11 tenths...but look at the results of an 11 tenth corner!!. I dont reckon youve lived until youve had a rollover!!
My first was when I was 17 and I was driving my newly aquired GB Galant down Coonara Ave West Pennant Hills. It was right outside the IBM factory and the road was all gravel then. I turned it over 3 times and flipped it once. Lucky for me there was heaps of bog in the roof panel acting as integral roll cage!!! Got out without a scratch....learned from it though!! By the way they are excellent pics...mind if I use them on my website???

They're not my pics - I just linked to some of the photos on the QLD Racing Driver's Assoc site http://www.qrda.asn.au/pics.html taken by Mark Walker. He does a great job of getting out to almost every event around here, so there's plenty more photos worth looking at on that site, they keep the last 20 or so events pics online.
