Some, not all Japanese market 1200 GXs had alloy 145 diff heads and LSD was a dealer fitted option. The alloy head was installed in 1200 wagons standard with the 4:1:1 ratio. I found a pair of finned alloy drums very similar to the Z cars for the 145 diff. I can only assume they were after market from Japan. They will go on my GX resto. I think it is safe to say that like in any country there are dealerships that will build up special editions of cars to drag in the public. The 1200 coupe was no different with dealers offering cars fitted with all the factory flares and spoilers, twin Mikunis, LSDs and lowered suspension.
