Hi! First, thanks so much for the help you guys have given me for my previous posts! I feel like such a sponge continuously posting these questions!!

Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone's ever taken a bumper off one model datsun and stuck it on another. Specifically, since the numpers for my C210 are just so stupidly expensive to buy (the ones I could find weren't even in good nick!), I was flirting with the idea of taking the bumpers from a 200B, and mounting them instead...

The 200B is essentially identical to the C210, just a smaller engine and a few other odds and ends... Does anyone know if the mountings for the bumpers are the same?

I mean, obviously I'd have to drill/cut holes for the front indicators, as on the 200B, these are mounted directly in the grill, or something, but it would be nice to know if this will be a simple drop in, or if I'd be better off just seeking the C210 bumpers... Or if by doing this I'd have a Mini Cooper spring out the trunk, or something disturbing like that.

It sounds like it's worth trying to fit the 200B bumpers to your car. I would try it, or maybe measure them carefully before you buy.
