Back water heater hose

Hello there,
Does anyone know the correct diamter of the hose that runs off the back of the cylinder head - up the fireall and into and elbow joint that disappears into the cab? My pipe is leaking and need to know the correct sizing, as the pipe that was fitted is incorrect and worn. Thanks heaps!

I think its about 5/8ths. Not 100% sure but. Just check at your nearest auto shop. cheers.....

Is there any problem with just buying the correct one from your friendly Datsun [Nissan] dealer. It will have the right shape & all.
