What I meant to type was rebuild was $600
and what I believe the value of the box was between $350 and $450.
I did manage to pick up a dogleg box a few years ago for $250 from a young mechanic he did say he had rebuilt it but he also said he had given it a bit of thrashing.

ADE's box is fully recoed. but if you know where you can find a cheaper 60a 5speed that has been fully recoed then pleease let us in on the secret

i have always thought hte price of these boxs went on condition, i have heard of totally rooted ones going from $400 and fully rebuilt ones going for $1100

i think Ade's prices is pretty close to what it is worth, considering its a new box
