Good info DD on the diff section.
The series 1 bluebird can actually also be the 1966-67 version and it has the firsts vesion of the h165 as feral pointed out. However still not sure whether later h165 stuff fits it. The other bit of stuff is what dodgeman knows about fitting the h150 internals to the h145 (pick his brain about it)

Ah I was thinking how well the LZ would go in a works replica PB 210.
Those H190 diffs were lovelly the one I had in the my old PB car had all the provision for the oil cooling as well. but you know the story with that one

I got the LZ imported through a brisbane company. When the engine turned up it it was only a shell. It had the titanium rods, pistons, cams, timing chain carriers, valves, and buckets removed.
All credit to the importer, they gave me my money back. I am looking again for another complete reasonable priced engine. The remains of that engine went to Peter Phillips in Brisbane. All in all agreat dissapointment and financial loss for me as I had spent $2000 on bits for it before it arrived. I still have an LZ20 turbo rocker cover sitting on my office wall to remind me of it! The diff is a 29 spline Carrier is x works diff with provision for oil cooler return line to splash oil directly onto pinion gear for cooling..

I saw it. Very desirable, like a good woman. I thought i must have been going into politics, as i'm sure that i felt i was having an "election" About the only thing you can do to it to make it even spoofier would be to polish it, but no one would notice it untill it was on a hoist. What do these alloy carriers come from? Obviously there are not a lot around.

Bluey struts will be too much trouble as the ball joints are bigger, I think, let me know how you go. I'd use 200b/stanza/240k, Stanza would be the pick of them.
Bluey rear track width from memory is 70mm wider, or is it 140mm, pretty sure it's 70. The other choice is a 180B Wagon, they had a H165, either a 4.11 or a 3.89 ratio You can view topic.
