I just picked up a pair for my Locost 7 for US$75 delivered for both. I'm using triumph spitfire spindles 4 x 3 3/4 inches and wanted to convert it to 4 x 4 1/2 inches. they are aircraft grade aluminum, and 1 inch thick. They are located in Florida, USA and all they do is spacers/wheel adapters. This was the best price I found. E-mail is
WheelAdapters@aol.com

thats AU$490.22

While you can get chrome 15"x 8 lightweight steel rims for US$492 inc shipping cost
thats AU$620.82

L18_B110 you're right they're made to order adapters, any pattern you want

maybe you're better off trying to find out if the wheels are made as "blanks". Performance for example make most of their classic wheels as blanks and only drill them to order.
