There were a lot of LHD Ute's in Greece, too. I don't know about the rest of Europe though.

Yep! a genuine LHD model assembled in South America. The current owner just purchased it two weeks ago, so I don't know if he's ready to resell it. He told me he will be at the ZCCA car show on 6/19 if you want to view it or make him an offer. He's a regular vendor at the UFO SoCal swaps at Mario's shop as well.

LHD? I wonder if it is a a conversion (I've never before seen pictures of nor heard of an LHD sunny truck).
I agree with Angelo, a small Datsun ute *probably* would not have been successsful in the US. The 521 and 620 trucks were derided by most of the population as too small and too cheap (though a large minority bought them and made them successful). What about other small utes? The Subaru Brat was successful, but arguably because it was four-wheel drive. The VW Rabbit/Golf pickup was less successful in the US, definitely a niche vehicle. Those were the last of the small utility coupes sold in the US.

Nissan already had a "mini" truck in the U.S. and this one is smaller. There is no way it would have been successful. That's just my opinion.
I think they are cool and wouldn't mind having one. It would be a lot more interesting than my Mazda B2000.

If they made them in left hook, then i wonder why they didn't offer them for sale in the US. I don't think there was a lot of competition on this class of commercial vehicle in the '70's.
Hopefully someone makes him an offer that he doesn't refuse, & makes sure that it doesn't re-cross the border.

Hey, that makes three confirmed sunny trucks in the US!

This must be one of the only pick up B120's in the States.
Is it yours ????
