My Bluey S2 dizzy is a hall effect type.

hall effect is a photo-electric light beamy thing?
Inductive ones have a metal ring with teeth and star-shaped "gear/cam" that rotates.

is my 83 280zx have a inductive or hall effect distributor? also did that dist have a delay built in mechinly or elect.?? thanks iam going to replace entire electrical with a fast system before any mods.
