thanks for that.
just thought it would be a nice feature and an easy way to find threads that may subscribe/reply to.

right i found it
It is the option called email notification that is down the bottome between disable smilely and attach signature. It is only available hen you start a new thread. It seems that you cant suscribe to a thread unless you started it, and you cant opt out of it later either.Thankfully threads dont usually last long so its not a big issue. in the end. unless you select email notification when you start a thread, then the option is never availble to you for that thread. I tried it out in the test fourms. and i cant get an email since i made the post, which makes sense that i dont want a notification when I making the latest post. makes sense??

when i first joined, i used to select this option all the time, then I decided that it is eaiser to accesss the site.
I will have to find it for you.

Hmmm ... where is that option?
This site is powered by the XOOPS system, does XOOPS have a module that will email updates?

you can recieve am email for threads that you susscribe to if you want. Just select the option. about private messages, there isnt an option there. would be good though

i am not sure sure if this has been mentioned or thought of before, or maybe i just haven't ticked a box in my options.
but has it ever been considered to update members with emails when they receive reply's to subscribed threads or private messages ? thanks, ISL33P You can view topic.
