yeah it looks like i will have to use a L16 crank with these rods.

hmmm sounds interesting, but I thought the usual trick was to use the nissan crankshaft with journals ground to suit the ford rods.
With undersized bearings, they normally only come in standard sizes, like .010, .020 under etc... so you might have to get the crank ground.

I'm building a ford xflow and need some help here. I'm using the datsun rods Which are 53.00mm(2.0866 in) and i would like to put them on 52.91(2.0831 in) crankshaft.
Are they any over size bearings that could make this fit, or could i just use the rods as they are with the standard bearings on the ford crankshaft?? HElp needed desparately...dont mind it aint all nissan ps.I'm planning on using the L20b crankshaft in the future, but would like to use the rods right away if possible. You can view topic.
