John,
If you are interested in a serious 1200 autocross car I have one for sale. It is tubeframed from the firewall back and powered by a 12A bridgeported rotary motor. It has all RX7 running gear, disk brakes, LSD rear end and coli over suspension. I have run it in E MOD SCCA autocrosses as well as some hillclimbs. (next year they will move 12A motors to D Mod) It has collected quite a few trophies, a few top time of the days, and a Hillclimb class record. It cost over $10,000 to build and develop and I am selling it for $5000, due to family concerns. The motor was rebuilt this summer and has about one hour of race time on it. It ran a 13.7 second, 100 mph quarter mile with autocross setup - it would go faster with softer springs to launch harder. If you send me an e mail I can send you photos, I don't know if you are considering shipping a car that you will buy. I also don't know if you are looking for a dedicated race car that you would have to tow to the races. You won't find more bang for the buck than this one. I have in car video that I can send you. E mail me: cvalen@sbcglobal.net
