Yeah I thought is was call a dog box, dogleg or something. i've seen some like this,
R 1 3 5 I--I--I--I <--------Not quite the same but strange * = nothing just a spacer * 2 4 6 R 2 4 I--I--I <--------This is the dog one 1 3 5 besides the Normal way i cant say i've seen any different ones other than these. just out of interest is there any more? apart from the reverse placement being on the bottom instead of the top E.g. * 1 3 5 I--I--I--I R 2 4 6

no you cant but Nissan did bring out the 63a L-series boxes which bolted onto A series

That would be great!!!! 5 speeds for everyone.
Unfortunately I don't think so. Whether it's the L series or the CA series gearbox I don't believe you can bolt them onto an A series motor.

Hey would anyone know if a nissan bluebird 5sp gearbox would go into a 120y im looking at buying one and its got tailshaft and im not sure any help would be great
