does this thing have the stock rear wheels aswell???
that would be rather annoying to drive in the wet....

the guy said its got a 308 with a 9inch diff and turbo 700 4 speed automatic. he only started the conversion 3 months before the nats. It had a drving 4 banger in it b4. Only just made it intime for the nats.

It looks like a holden V8, with the rear mounted distributor and the rocker covers are not perfect rectangle like a chev.

does that have a 253 in it by any chance because i seen one for sale about a year ago selling for $4900 and everything was standerd but the v8

sweet drag car. bugger the handling when you could have SO much straight line fun in that...!

I am a fan of the sleeper concept, and the 120y, being such a f-ugly car makes the perfect choice. The granny colour and neat job makes this a beaut. pulling up at the lights you'd never guess there was a V8 wearing a sombrero under the bonnet.
