i've been reading this thread from the start and now i really want to know if i can be a part of Team Old Skool/School, Team Real Old School or Fast Old School (which ever ???)
my little 1200 sedan is pretty old school - 13" 1970's mags, 1970's 240z bucket seats, and an A12 thats had the following : full balance - pistons, rods, pulleys, crank, lightened and balanced flywheel, GX kidney chamber head fully rebuilt with new valves, double springs and guides, ports and clean up, 9.8:1 compression, clives cams grind 82 (0.050" lift) with twin hitachi (su) carbs trumpets and sox and 4-1 extractors with a single free flow muffler (not even a chrome tip) please please pleeeeeaaase let me in ???!!!

ps i really just wanted to write up what my little a series has and i really like the original a series way of making your car go faster not that all that electric, twin cam, superturbocharged stuff doesn't sound like fun so can i be in ?????

yeah i agree.... was late when i wrote the other stuff

This was only abit of fun but people, wanna take it further, which is cool... Lseries, Aseries (turbo, SC, EFI, webers) etc should be included and will be included

I can see the next Question from a member "what about rotarys?" lol something to ponder.

cheers

I am old school all the way. Its the way to go. If you have a mid 70s car keep it mid 70s. The other thing is the A series is a great little motor & webers look & sound realy good
