But its connected to the aerial remote wire and that is why the amp turns off when cd is selected. Change the amp remote over to the correct wire on the deck and it will work properly. Your deck should have 2 remote wires; 1 for amp etc 1 for aerial. If it doesnt have the second remote wire - connect the amp remote the the accecories wire behind the deck.

yeah but if that were so muke, wouldnt it effect it all the time even when i listen to the radio?

if u've got the strock standard alternator in...it'l continue to do this....doesn't keep enough
charge or how ever u like to put it... i had to get a new one...ended up getting an 85 which is quite sufficient but quite expensive considering thei had to make up andother bracket to fit etc.

i put a amp and sub in my car today.....it works fine when im listening to the radio, but when i play a cd the amp/sub turns off.
the amp is a sony xplod 600watt, the headunit is a sony xplod mp3 headunit and lightning audio sub. has anyone had a problem like this before? Karl You can view topic.
