#2 Re: Turbo Timer

I think it would be better to have the car run for 1 to 2 minutes before you drive the car to let it warm up rather than to let it cool down.

I know its a fact that the trucks that are on the road 99% of the time last for ages because they're always warm. they never get the wear and tear on the engine when the engine is cold. The only time they turn them off is to get them serviced. I don't know what the exact figures are, but they are surprising

Now i know i'm going to get owned for asking this but.

is there any benifit running a turbo timer on a N/A car? I know the reason for having them on a turbocharged car is so that the turbo has time to cool down on idle for a minute or 2 after running, but would it benifit a N/A car with engine cooling temps or anything like that or would an electric water pump and thermo fan be a better option running until at a certain temp after the engine is shut off?

i'm asking this as a serious question i'm not asking to see if i can bolt on some wank factor rice gear.
