i might be able to make it on the third to the tailrace for a meet, just not with the dat maybe a Mitsubishi Express, or a hyundai santafe, depends on what time everybody leaves.

there are three people at school with 120y's, the white one, a black one and the orange one with black bonnet.

Sorry about tassienats on last sunday.
I drove in up the end where everyone else parks, and I didnt see anything that interested me much, as in the Datsun form, so I kept on driving and parked near the entrance for a while, I saw the 120y sedan p plater drive in though, a few minutes after I drove back home.

How far away were you when you saw me, I was up behind a hotrod. That datto is my daily driver, I didnt want to bring out my other one, as I wouldnt of wanted to leave it, parked amongst the public's cars.

Any way maybe you will be able to meet me some other time.

The dyno was broken, did a load cell or somthing so none of that happened. i noticed that when the little 323's(one had a towbar ) were on the burnout comp "no one" cheered, shows you how many v8 fans were out there. ben brays burnouts were sh!thouse the v8 rx4 or the v8 capri would have killed him in a comp. did you see the Torana "FU-2" that makes me laugh hahahaha. look i could talk for days, so i'll stop.

Im sorry but jesus guys there were some bogans out there!!! A CA18ET (i think) Datsun 1600 was called 'a bucket of ####' by a guy i heard, it was really nice too! ugly exhaust tho...

I saw you and your car tim (dat16) and when it only did the one wheeled burnout lol, twas quite funny but showed we still have pride!

That coupe comes from deloraine and is running a supercharged V6 out of the mid 90's commodores, kinda defeats the purpose of a datsun with a commy motor init dont it......

Anyone go on the sunday? i wanted to see the dyno shoot out and the burn out comp but missed it, bugga! But god ben bray's drag car is awsome, ran 6.86 at the end i think if my memory serves me right...Good day/night for young and all tho!

Nismo, i saw you on sunday as i was walking in the gate but after that i never saw you again i was sorta looking forward to meeting you, anyway did you see that 1200 coupe, i dunno what was innit but i think it was a commodore supercharged v6, some guy mouthed me as i took a photo of a corolla said take a photo of a real car like a torana, so i took a photo of him . he wasnt to happy.

I'll be there on Saturday from 12 ish onwards, I'm using the ute as a camera vehicle to shoot some stuff for a new ad.

I'll make sure my Datsun1200 . com stickers get in.......

I just wanted to let all you datsun owners (especially all you tassie datto owners)
that the tassienats are on this weekend if you already didnt know.

Its on both saturday and sunday and saturday opens at I think 10am with racing at 12pm.

Where as on sunday it opens at 9am and this day includes a car show, burnout comp, miss tassienats
etc.
I dont know the cost of entry though.
I will most likely be there on the sunday with my white 120y coupe. (only to watch though).

Hope a lot of you tassie datto owners can make it as it would be great to see your datsuns in the raw.

Also if someone made some flyers about a datsun meet in launie with an informal get together, in a car park on a weekend with a date and time,and put them under the wipers of all respectable datsuns out on both days, this could start the ball rowling, and actually happen.

Just a suggestion

Anyway hope to see some nice dattos out there.
