Brake conversions - residual line pressure valve

Hi Guys (and girls).
I've been researching braking systems and come up with something interesting. We have discussed removing the "RLPV" from the rear circuit, when upgrading from drums to discs. This is not "entirely correct". We actually need to fit a RLPV suitable for discs. Drums have a much higher pressure rated valve than do discs. 2psi for discs and 10 psi for drums Wilwood Website references So compare the valve in the Nissan master cylinders, and you will see that both lines have a spring with a rubber plug on the end. But they are different. When buying a master cylinder from the wreckers, "borrow the RLPV" from another "front" circuit, and fit it, before leaving the wrecking yard, to make the master cylinder suitable for 4 wheel discs brake setup. Cheers, Chris You can view topic.
