i cant remember exactly but i think cars after 1979, emission systems cannot be removed. i know my cousins 1977 corolla has emmissions on it.

OK its running but there is a lean spot and I assume its jetting. What do you guys suggest for this setup? 32/36 a14

I run twin weber 36/36's on my 1200 sedan. I know that I don't have to deal with emissions because the car is to old.

I say just plug everything.

KEITH. no we dont have any programs like yours cars dont have to pass any stricked laws to be registered or insured.(maybe you should move here)..

not quite yet finished the new 120Y sedan but will be ready for the second round of the B series in june.the wagon shell was to badly twisted to fix ..

can't you just modify the new air cleaner on the Weber to accept those hoses?

generally putting a webber on a vehicle with pollution gear is going to make if fail a pollution test if they check to see if the pollution equipment is still there and hooked up, even if it passes the emissions testing.

things might be different in canada.

Do you have polution programs there? We have what they call "Air Care" and you need to pass the test to get your car insured to get it on the road. I dont know if it will pass this test without the polution gear.

matts 120Y wagon runs a 32/36 webber with oval port head and manifold we took off all polution gear and blocked all holes and hoses,runs well and idles about 1500rpm.engine is 1270cc and dyno figures show 106BHP at rear wheels.
