mine came from a KE30 corolla. grab the mount for it too, it fits nicely and bolts on, onto the arm holding up your 1200's battery support.. its a 12mm bolt.

yes, instead of getting one of those ugly aftermarket bottles, try browsing through
the larger cars in a wreckers.the one i always
try to get is from a rear wheel drive mazda 929,
it's a nice round bottle,& the mount bolts to the car so you can grab it at the same time.do
buy a new recirculating radiator cap,& snag the
plastic hose from the donor car to connect the
radiator & the overflow bottle.just bolt it to the radiator support panel next to the radiator,
& you're done.

yep, definately a good and easy thing to do. just need to get a new cap that is used in a recovery system and a recovery tank from any car at the wreckers

A coolant recovery system is one of the best things you can do to datsun. This should be considered before any other upgrade

Hi Hak, this a piss easy conversion, pop into your local parts place get a radiatoroverflow bottle kit and a new radiator cap (the caps are different) and find a suitable place to mount it, I think where your horn currently sits is ideal.
cheers Ade

Good thinking here. I ran one in my 1000 sedan since about '85. No coolant loss & no green stains on anything were the benefits.
My 1000 coupe will have one too.
