i bought two seatbelts for the front today (through Repco). i got the Klippan K1517 which isn't retractable. the buckle length bit (from where it bolts to the floor up to the level of the seat) was 30cm. i got non-retractable as the retractor thingy would be annoying and in the way for passengers (and my excess crap in the car).

I will endeavour to take photos this weekend. Possibly earlier, depending on Dyno availability.

Dattodude can you take some photos of the droplinks and post them in this thread because the dodgey repco im dealing with now has 2 parts listed for the same part number. I have the retractable part already but I dont want to get the wrong droplink part, thanks heaps.

Yes, I'm almost certain that these will also suit a coupe.
BTW. The drop links I used are 115mm long (not 150mm as previously quoted) They were $44.30 each from my scratchy notes. This is what puts the cost up a little more obviously. This is on top of the $80 for the retractable unit.

do you know if its the same setup for retractable seatbealts in the coupe cause i have no bolt in position for seatbealts on the door frame near the windows like you do in all modern cars.
My one has just a bolt on point behind the drivers seat below the rear quarter window an the belt comes around to the floor.

That's what the droplink is for. Comfort, and to bring the pivot point above the unit. The 150mm droplink worked fine for me.
The Klippan retractable units are compact and won't foul on most seats, not even close on my Sparco buckets. For ye of little faith, I'll take a photo of the install tomorrow.

Hi guys, 2 questions how does the retractables go with sliding seats I thought they would foul on the runners and as far as I am aware retractable seatbelts need to be fitted so the top mount is directly above the mechanism ie belt is vertical.
let me know as I want to fit a set to my 2 door although not original for safety sake I will compromise cheers Ade You can view topic.
