Its only going to improve if the current grounding is unsatisfactory

oh...

in that case i thinking if we ground the engine block more will it improve spark?

cause like this...

the positive 'head' of the plug will make electron 'jump to the 'L' shape thing creating spark
so the return is from the 'L' shape thing on the spark plug to the plug and to the engine block and to the chasis and back to battery..

so if i made more ground cable to the engine block dono will it create better spark?

I would hope the distributor is well grounded, Otherwise how do you expect the coil to recieve its negative trigger.

you don't want to ground the distributor or the coil.

make sure the ground from he battery to the chassis is good and from the engine to the chassis.

the only path to ground for the high voltage from the coil needs to be through a spark plug.

i will go ground there to make better spark. :)

Please re-read the following and make note of the winking face and have a think about what the winking face is hinting.

hi all.
my knowledge very limited

a stupid question here.. hope someone can help

may i know where is the coil?
is it the round thing 'before' the distributor?
(which have wire connects to the center of distributor)?

thanks

oh now i understand why you were doing that. It's important if you have a big voltage drop from the wire. I'm amazed how the datsuns seem to not have relays for all the things ( headlamps, ignition ) that you'd just expect to include when wiring a car.
