From your description, it looks like you have problems with the blinker/ dip switch. Pretty serious problems if it changes beam when you go for left indicator, & you can't get low beam most of the time.
If possible, pop the steering wheel off & have a look inside the switch to see if you can find any excessive wear or busted bits. I suspect a replacement switch assembly will help, but check it out first.

Can you test the circuit yourself to find the actual cause of the problems? If you can, you should be able to assess whether it is repairable or not.
It costs money just trial and error guessing if you purchase parts.

Not from Nissan Factory.
The car in question, might have had relays installed but a relay doesnt blow fuzes and operate in the described ways.

I cant be certain about late model utes, but early 1200's dont click because they dont have headlight relays.
Fuzes only burn because of dead shorts.
Sounds like your high beam/ indicator switch is messed up.

check ur headlight relay see if its working...should make a click when u go from high 2 low beam...
