If both you guys have cars that drive half as quick as how long it has taken to build them. Then you have nothing to complain about and should be all
Stay cool.

that makes 2 of us
Man, that is unfortunate. On the upside, it is going to be worth every cent and all the effort when you get to drive it. I thought my conversion would take me 3 months....1 year later and endless cash put into it Im 99.9% there....SR20DET, T28 Ball Bearing Turbo, should get up and go. So yes Im just as excited as you are.... I did some of the work myself and got Kevin Rowly to give me a hand with getting it to a stage where it was becoming complete. Be persistant, its worth it!

Lets just say it has not been a quick re build its taken about 7 months so far.
I decided to do an sr20 conversion into my ute at first I thought this will take about a month tops..... In fact it would have only taken 1 1/2 months if I wasnt screwed around by the original work shop that did nothing but leave me car less for 3 months. lets just say planning is the most important thing and I didnt know this site existed before I started and it would have helped me a great deal. besides the initial modifications of custom cross member engine mounts and transmition tunnel performed at micks metal craft in sydney the rest of the work has taken place in my garage but mostly Bezerky auto in Wollongong. This is a breif list of things that they have done install custom fuel system mounted under tray fit all fuel lines fuel pumps using dash 6 braided line. Hydralic clutch conversion, fit new Exeddy clutch upgrade brakes fitt new booster custom radiator ( modded 1600 tank with custom end tanks) all that is left to do now is the wireing that gets started on monday. fit the radiator, install new tail shaft, re fit the interior, exhaust and engineer so although im almost finished there is still a bit to go, but I have not driven my Datto for a long time and im champing at the bit to get behind the wheel again. I have spent a tonne of cash on towing between places so and as I work stupid hours I have not been able to do as much of the work as I would have liked but I will still get to drive it sorry for blabbing on but im just so exited about getting it back You can view topic.
