Matt , you must not have been to many vintage races or scca events lately. Because I've seen more 240z at those events than I have at the drags. And I go to Irwindale and pomona for all the drag races/drag nites. My personal opinion is that you'll see more z's roadracing and autocrossing in california than you will dragracing.

you may think whatever you wish but that does not make it a fact
a friend who swapped his l6 3.1 triple carbs/extractors for an rb25det gained 265lbs can that be compared to a ca18det swap into a 1200? possibly, but you're also dealing with weight distribution/where the motor sits and why are we even pondering this when you're not going to track the car anyway

yes they might kill the handeling a bit but i was not going to race it so it didnt matter.
i was also thinking about an sr20det because they are lighter but then it would loose that big six sound that they are ment to have

spethal? do you have a lisp?
rb's ruin the handling of 240z. that being said, more 240z guys don't care because they only drag race them
