Since no mods are required, it must be a right drive model with cable actuated clutch.

No its a smooth outer case.

There is absolutely NO MODS needed.

Does it look like this, with external ribs, or does it have a smooth case?
If it is like this one, then it is a 56A type & there are two minor variants.

The difference is in the size of the hole where the clutch cable fits in [seen near the clutch arm boot.]
The small hole fits 1200 cables while the larger hole version [more common] is from the 120Y /B210 & the 120Y cable makes it all work in a 1200

I have a very rare 5 Speed A12 Bolt in gear box to suit a 1200 Ute For Sale.

There is no need for any modifications to be carried out to install this gear box, it is a simple bolt in exercise.
