jee, unless wank means something different than i know of..... u boys need to find a woman. (smaller beings, usually blonde hair, they have swells on their chest, u know, them things)
another advantage of a sump like that is the sheer volume they hold decreases the temperature of the oil. same principal as having a bigger radiator, more coolant, more time for the coolant to cool. cooler oil is better for your engine.

Its more for when you go around a corner to keep the oil in the botton of the sump so that the oil pickup is always drowned in oil. it also keeps the oil away from the crank which wil slightly take more energy to turn (every bit counts) any one else add to that...

ohk just for my stupid little peice of input that is obvious but i still cant get it......
WHat advantages do those (the racing sumps) have over a standard one. That tomei one has coling fins so obviously it cools the oil without a oil cooler.... anyone ?? Cheers

If the answer is yes, then keep your eye on Yahoo Japan online auctions & that might get you in the bidding, but is no guarantee of winning. This is Lemonheads oil pan, & a damn fine piece of work it is too. [Just like the rest of the engine] ![]()
