does anyone know whether you have to get an a14 or a15 engineered? i dont have any mod plates or anything for mine, so im thinkin you might not have to...

Why not start out with a worked a15? plenty of power to get into trouble with and wont cost heaps to convert. If you must have a import type motor, i would suggest going for the ca18de. Then it will be easy to upgrade to a ca18det when you are ready for more power.

have you thought about putting an a14 or an a15 in it? i dont think you have to get it mod plated.. not sure how much it costs though.... and then later on you could turbo or supercharge it....
that would be a cheaper idea than getting a 4AGE or something like that.. or save you money, keep the a12, and get a CA conversion later...
