Well I think the swear words and skin left behind definitely contributed to getting that bolt out....as did the lenght of this thread - if it were less than 30 replies I don't think that bolt would have considered loosening.
The whole not giving up on it was incidental to the result!

so ben whats the moral of this story...
perserverance pays off or lots of swear words and physical threats loosened that bolt....

 If you hadnt of got it i was going to say to pull it out & bring it to me. I havnt a a broken bolt or stuck anything ever get the better if me. WURTH makes great stuff
