hahah where were the SR datto's running on the weekend?????
I seen Chris's sedan and 04RCN & 10STU were running quick times... Couldnt see any SR 1200's racing but?????

Mick, you are right I reckon I should have put a cast iron boat anchor in the old ute. Those Ca's make great torque i heard

.Thanks for putting the pic up as I don't know how to do that stuff very well. I was listening in to Troy tell some guy about how he built it in his shed and the other guy said he should call it "Home made engineering", and I thought that was a pretty good name for it

yep troys ute, i did the panel work and painted the inside, and he put the engine and everything else in him self. all in his shed. and it ran a 10.7 my sedan has never been worked on by any one but me and my mates, and none of us realy know what we are doing

I would have thought Troys ute would have made it onto the cd for sure. I was showing dad the video footage that I got and he still cant get over how quick some of those cars are, and he didn't belive me when I said your sedan and the rotor ute were built in sheds at your houses.
Oh by the way chris I bought a '79 Sunny today off ebay, The body is all prep'd for paint and the engine bay, door reviels and inside boot is already painted a custom pearl blue. It has an S13 SR20DET fitted with manual box and tailshaft made for $4000. Not bad I reckon, considering I was quoted $2800 for an S13 front cut. So that has fast tracked my project ten fold.
