A spacer would be a bit of a pain because you would then have to bend all the hard lines slightly. The important part of rotating the housing is that you keep the core on the right angle. You want the oil feed directly on top. You may find you have to rotate the exhaust housing a bit too. When we stuck one of these on my mate's CA we rotated the exhaust housing.

If that doesn't give you any joy (but it should) you can use a spacer... just make sure that the inside diameter is exactly the same as the exhaust manifold. Otherwise the airflow gets all screwed up.... have fun!!

u need a large set of circlip plyers, just pull in the circlip and spin the comp housing, just be sure u can still use the actuator.

ahh fair enuf ill have a bit of a look later on, sounds easy enuf, thanks heaps lagwagon makes things a bit easier

you just have to loosen the compressor cover and rotate it slightly and all will be fine. it can sometimes be a bit stiff but it will move!

hey guys ive been doin a bit of fiddlin with my ca18det and ive decided to put a t25 turbo off a sr on it but when i went to bolt it all up the exhast manifold hits the turbo, do i have to have a spacer or somethn to get it all to fit? its jst a small set back ive got plenty more to do as ive jst bought the engine but it would be handy to figure it out, thanks guys kev
