maybe a good price for a drop tank, but damn, why not just put a second tank in, like a sedan one between the rear wheel arches, or something like a mk. 1 escort one tucked in the back corner of the boot or something

why do you need it???

if your worried about one trip to datnats take a jerry can

when i did my injection on my coupe i made up a bar across the back for my harness mounts then closed off the boot with aluminium as a firewall. then i had a surge tank and low pressure pump in the boot, but the high pressure pump sat under the car above the tank (betweeen it and the body)

maye a lot of mucking around but it was very cheap (i used what i had)

fuel capacity was never a problem for me either

I was quoted $720 from an alloy welding place near me and he didn't even know what I was talking about when i said I wanted an internal pump
I think that when you deal with someone like Trent (twincharged) who is obviously into cars, they know what needs to be done to get the best performance out of the product, whatever it might be. And considering I am researching everything as I go, if someone can tellme that something else will work better then I'm all ears , just like you with the pumps I guess.

Twincharged: SOunds the goods to me i am going to find some way to afford this might take a few weeks to organise cash. I just want to ask you though, would i be better off getting you to make me one up with no intake pump and using my external surge tank, and lift pump/high pressure pump setup or would you recomend going with the
internal pump setup. Will it be any cheaper without
the internal pump?? I am pretty keen just want to get a better idea on what setup i would/should use. Also could i get a contact number or something off you so i can get in touch to organise one. CHeers

Bad310: These are definatly the go. When i was llooking into drop tanks earlier my local engineering w/shop quoted almost double, but i guess they have to build it from scratch,
