Both the vol1 (B110) and vol2 (B120) don't show this number in 1973. I reckon it's a later model A12 piston: Another site This is an NS73L piston. another reference

some had fuel injection i think...
good luck finding one. some came with LPG carbs too, but i wouldn't use those carbs for a road car.

the valves start floating @ around 6700, but the springs are stock and i have never checked them out.
i seriously doubt it's any different than what came in a stock 210

this is the exact engine i bought; i did a best of 16.9 in the 1/4 on that cam
i got lucky; it was the wrong engine, so i got a brand new crate engine for $400!!!!!!! it had a low compression smallport head that i swapped for a bigport, then my modded intake with the weber dgv, 2" exhaust, 3.889 rear end 2,500 lbs with my fat ass in a '71 plymouth cricket ran a 16.9@82 mph i ran a 9.80 in the 1/8 on the stock '71 1200 carb

Now Mr DatsunSSS, you may well have hit on something that's VERY usefull here
The listing gives two part numbers for the A10 & three for the A12 engine. It's the A10 listing that is of most interest. In the listings the numbers all begin with 12010, so for simplicity, I will leave this out & just go with the suffix part of the number. A12 Part No. -H1001 Standard piston. This is the earliest part number & was superceded from 6/72 -H1061 Not found in my parts book. Is this the flat top GX piston? -H1011 This is the part number for the piston that superceded the first one on this list in 6/72 I suspect that when ordering pistons, you would add a suffix indicating the required oversize A10 part numbers, again all with the 12010 prefix. -18021 This is the third part number, so it would be the second supercession. This would be a standard A10 flat top piston. -H2301 Not shown in either my B10 or B110 books. Part numbers with the 'H' prefix are normally 1200 model part numbers. Is it possible that this is the 1200 GX flat top piston as all pistons for the A10 engine, at least the ones used in the B10 model, were flat top. Can anyone shed some more light on these two, as yet, unidentified part numbers?

Very often the industrial engines have certain heavy duty components to help ensure reliability in the hands of uncaring operators, or when the engine is operated at full rated output for long periods, like in generators or pumps.
I have no idea what an A15 would need by way of beefier parts, but an exhaust manifold & induction change, along with a suitable cam change, & this engine will give your Datsun some 'Industrial Strength' grunt. You can view topic.
