not exactly it only stated like that for a few weeks it now has a modified vn air box another plastic part not sure if GMH is happy

yes it is . i had a stainless elbow but absorbed too much heat and increased the intake air temp a few degrees so thanks to the insulating properties of plastics , you may notice some new cars have plastic intake manifolds for this reason
so scoff if u wish
