i thought these were FWD so how does the 4WD running gear bolt up? is there a driveshaft tunnel already or would you have to make it all yourself?

wellllll ..... dredging up the past i just had to add this ....

this proton ute would have to be the coolest i have seen, and mentioned in a way earlier post .
it's got the full GTi engine and driveline, front suspension and brakes, inside there's the complete GTi interior - dash, guage cluster, wheel, centre consol, seats and carpet. the only thing not GTi is the door trims as they are different length doors. outside GTi front bumper.

Proton's Lotus Elise has similar problems, but owners love it anyways. It performs very well, so the build problems are excusable.

My 0.02c worth....I organised a test drive of the top of the range model, looked nice, and on paper it had good specs....

Well, test driving it, I found it to be gutless, handled like cr@p and not to mention the build quality (or there lack off).It was way too hard in the back for a "half-ton" ute. I loved the ex-factory rattles, and pressed "cardboard" pillar trim pieces, c'mon Proton, lift your game......
The only good thing is that there is nothing else on the market in this segment.
