i know dellow sells sprinter box's for about 650 recond if i remember right.
my toyota box required a bit of hammering around the tunnel to get it to not hit, but depending on how high the engine is mounted will depend on the amount of bashing required. if it was already an auto tunnel it will fit no prob.

Time for a Gear box to suit 4agze i give up trying to find a sprinter box.
Im thinking a trimatic auto or Supra. Does any1 no whether tunnel mods are needed to fit these boxes? The way i see it if i pay for a bell housing i may aswell go auto(I LIKE 4drags). And IMPORTANT What alternators will fit on 4agze Off what cars?

You guys are awsome. How do you upload pics do you copy and paste.
I had a look at all the plugs and they are dark dad 1st reaction was rich could have had slight oil but dry so it looked pretty good to him there was no markings on the plugs which is good to. Inlet ports are dark as well bu i am not sure if it was turbo before as it came with a turbo plenim and turbo but no manifold so it could be oil from turbo(Hoping)engine is startable dad wants to rebuild now before i put in but so far its not coming back out, lolQuote:

Spark-plugs Speak volumes on the health of an engine Mmmm, now I'll have to go dig out my old ones, I seem to remember that they had black carbon on them, and also some oil. Then again, the whole motor is full of oil, it was over filled with cleanish oil. Am worried about 3 tiny pieces of aluminium I found in the sump. They weren't the usual fine fillings(which there were none of) from when you have a bearing failure, but rather looked like little pieces of casting, from when the mold doesn't seal properly, that broke of or came loose. I hope they are just that... Also there is a lot of black carbon in the inlet ports... Going to do a compression test, and then start it without the turbo on, to see of there are any noises inside or not. If it's buggered or loose stuff comes flying out, at least it won't break the turbo...

Wiring goes through just to the right (when sitting in the drivers seat) of the brake master cylinder.
Carnt really test the bottom end bearing with out pulling the engine to bits. You can test compression with a compession tester to see if your rings are ok.

How can i check the engine to see if it needs a rebuild before starting(4agze) Any thing i can look for or is there a test i can do. Also how can i see top dead centre of the crank so i can line the cams up as they are marked and as far as i can see the crank isnt. the Pulleys have a mark and the cover (behind pulley) has a mark to line up. use a 180b booster.. makes it a lot easier to stop in a hurry..
For the front, the s3 bluebird struts will accomadate the commodore disc without any modification... u will only need a bracket made up for ur calipers... Then throw on some old commodore pursuit rims.... You can view topic.
