Mate I love your car. Can't wait till I can see it in the flesh, or should I say metal?? ...and when your signature reads 100% complete.
Good luck with the gremlins.

Henry

The noise at the end was just a high end miss maybe? I've got to send the Autronic off to be fixed tomorrow.I think it's a dud injector driver.. It's not ignition..for once. I've become quite unaffected by problems these days...they happen so often.

The atmo vented blow off valves create noise pollution, oil contiminents from the turbo, and in Air flow meter systems, it creates over fueling and pollution, so our laws say they can only vented back into the intake.

We only had enough space on one of the cameras to get this single video. I'll be more prepared next time.

That's why I thought he didn't have a BOV. It sounds like when you let go of the throttle without a BOV, then it creates that 'bouncing' sound effect as the boost pressure tries to escape backwards through the turbo compressor wheel. Even though it's harmful to the turbo, I still think it sounds better than a BOV... It harks back to the days when the Audi Quatro's dominated WRC...*whooooshchiechiechie...*

Also what is their motivation for not allowing atmo BOV's? Unless the turbo is buggered, it can only vent oxygen...

Yes, its got an SSQV blow off valve that is 'plumbed back' so that you don't hear the psshh noise. It's illegal to have an atmo vent BOV in australia, and you may as well give yourself defect fines if you drive on the street with it making the pshh noise.

I run stanza castor arms that are machined down to the same length as 1200 ones.. They are thicker in diameter to the B110 ones. It's possible that bakkie ones have increased in size, due to the increase in engine size. by machining them down, I can modify the castor by using
washers on the eng of the castor rod, but with large diameter wheels, there is not much room for adjustment.

Sounds healthy... up to here...

Do you have a dump/blowoff valve on there? It doesn't sound like it...

Checked out your webpage, one of the pictures of particular interest, was the one on the Stanza caster arms. The standard bakkie caster arms on the front suspension I bought, looks exactly like the ones from the Stanza in your pictures. Now the stupid question, what difference do they make?

I'll try to make it. I'll bring a six pack if I come along. Not enough refreshments at Unigroup. I might have to look into installing a Coke machine there to make some money!

Thanks for the comments Ange. I hope it all turns out good too.
