Bloody oath!
I'm 5'10" and I struggled to fit in a Countach, and that has more room. For a cheaper option I think they start around $25k-$30k for body and chassis only.

ive got some pics here on the computer of a gt40 meet thay had up the road at the conference center. no sh1t, a dude that looked like he was 7 foot tall walked up to one and jumped in it!! his knees must be round his ears!

Probably replicas, Roaring 40's who make the shells are based up your way.
If you got some spare cash pepper they'll make you a turn key unit for about$150k-$250k depending on your combo.

there are about 4 gt40's, dont know if they are genuine or replicas, around my area. they are such a mean looking car in the flesh.
and the roof is about as high as my ankles. id love one!!!

They seem to have been designed around the same time, the GT40 began racing a little earlier.
From what I gathered Lola did the major design work on the GT40 as they had a long standing relationship with Ford, although it wasn't exclusive. It's then possible they used the same design team, but that would probably indicate Ford released the design first. They're both dead sexy cars though.
