Agreed, & have done such things many times myself.

personally if I was chasing a full set of these hubcaps I would be stoked to at least have found three as finding one is a lot easier.

Well I thought that bringing something like this to our attention was, overall, a benefit of club membership.

Yeah, I have uttered a silent curse on some when my secret find on ebay was announced to the world, but hey, them's the breaks, & for every discovery of mine that is uncovered, there's plenty that aren't, so while I might grumble, I really have no cause to actually complain.

Hey guys, Take a deep breath and count to ten....... And relax. If someone wants to draw attention to something for sale on the open market then I don't see anything wrong with that. We all look at ebay and search for Datsun goodies. It keeps Datsuns alive ! That's got to be a good thing eh. If you miss out on something don't worry , it will come up again.

I placed this thread in good faith, since everyone else does, and since I am a member, I (thought) it would be alright, since it is in fact in the right category.

I did not know this topic was going to evolve into this big dilema.

i dont understand why we have to post ebay sale items here unless your the seller, some people like to bid on the items and by posting them on here, it detracts from the purpose of buying the item cheap.

i know its an auction but some people like to try and get a bargain (like me).

by bringing more attention to the item, it rasies the price (fine if your the seller) but in this case if its not your auction, i belive in not posting it.

They are nice hubcaps and would look great on a B10, if they were in Sydney and there were four I would have thought about buying them to put on my car at rego time.

And I thought people only replied to postings when they need a part and not to bash on other people's posts.
If you don't need it, then there is no need to reply to the post.
It's like flipping the channel if you do not like whats on TV..
Or better yet, tell me how to delete this post and I will delete it.
