OK, heres the thing, firstly, the details that came with this one was in fact the URL to the page that has the picture in it, not the picture itself http://datsun1200.com/modules/myalbum/photo.php?lid=13956
So far so good. In this case we are using a picture that is already on the 1200 forum site. Next, place the cursor over the image itself & right click. [Try it on the picture below] You will get a dialogue box & at the bottom of that it says 'PROPERTIES' Click on 'PROPERTIES' You get another box that appears & in the middle section of that box you get a line that is labelled "Address [URL]" Highlight the whole URL/Address & right click on it. Now you get another little box coming up & in it you see the word "copy" Left click on that word. The computer has now captured the address/URL of the image itself. Go to the box where you write your text for a post & go through the usual drill, ... that being to click on the 'img' button. You then 'paste' the captured address/url in the space provided & continue on through the process. The actual URL for the image below is http://datsun1200.com/modules/myalbum/photos/13956.jpg Notice that it ends in jpg This is important as we shall see later on. When you do all that, press the "PREVIEW" button to see how it turns out. If you got it right, the image below is what you should see. Things are just a tiny bit different with photobucket, see the text below this picture. ![]() With Photobucket, you get two choices, you can have the small thumbnail size picture, in which case you simply follow the instructions above. The following picture has a URL of ........ http://s11.photobucket.com/albums/a164/KB10/th_MyCoupe.jpg Again, the URL ends with jpg & the image in this case looks like this. ![]() If you want the full size image from Photobucket, you click on the Photobucket thumbnail image of your choice to allow the full size image to appear, then you go through the motions as before, but this time you get a URL with a little extra. Note the extra characters AFTER the jpg. suffix, starting with the question mark. http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a16 ... eShop01.jpg?t=1193367042. You will need to delete everything after the jpg, like this. Actually you can simply capture the URL/address without the unwanted part quite easily. http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a164/KB10/PieShop01.jpg From here it's just the same as before & this particular URL results in the image below. ![]() From here it's just a matter of checking your text for spelling, punctuation, grammar & syntax, then press 'preview' to make sure you got it right. Edit the post as often as needed to make it look right, then press 'SUBMIT' Check the final product & select 'EDIT' if you need to change anything. The first time will be a pain, but once you get the hang of it, it'll become second nature.
