The F20c and K20a spin clockwise. B series spin anti-clockwise, along with any other Honda motor where the motor was on the passenger side of the engine bay. Which was pretty much everything until the 2002 CRV came out with the K24a.
All their current models have engines which spin clockwise.

As for b seres its mostly the same with a slight twist the motor rotates the opposite way to conventional engines

Good thing I read all the replies first, as I wanted to say the same thing... Does the 2000's turn the right way around then? Not that I say there's a right or wrong way, seeing as Peugeot put number 1 cylinder at the rear in their older 404's...

I got a k20a2 motor for $3000 thats the cheap bit i guessk series will require RWD gear box with a custom bell housing it will also need a cut an shut job on the intake manifold as it faces the wrong way. You will also have to re locate a/c etc.

I once saw a vw beetle that had been modded to look like a baja style runner and in the back was a b16a1 motor. It was for sale. I wish I found out what transmission he used and or adapterplate he used to get that set up to work.

great engines but biggest problem is they are FWD and finding gearboxes to fit is the problem as well as access issues like distributors etc getting in the way. I think if you want to go Honda power (and Honda really do make great engines) then the S2000 is the go. Again i had issues with space with the SR20 so give yourself some time to do it ...it wont be easy at all...but quite possible. And the little 1200 will rip. Imagine 176 factory Kw in a N/A engine revving to 9000....in a lighteight great handling coupe. Awesome.

the k20a is found in:
2001-2005 Honda Civic Type-R (EP3
2001-2006 Honda Integra Type-R (DC5)
2003-2006 Honda Accord Euro-R

and the k20a2:
2002-2004 Acura RSX Type-S and 2002-2005 Honda Civic Type R (EP, European)

according to wiki anyway.
I have seen a few really sick s2000 (F20C) engine conversions, in such cars as the hatchi-roku (ae86). by all means they are amazing engines capable of producing awsome power but some people believe it to be blasfamy to do the conversion. if its power you're after and you have the money and time i say go for it.

Im unsure if there is a b16a rwd gearbox like tyrie said. Not a honda expert or enthusiast after all

Ask around on the honda forums and such if there is any rwd boxes, i dout it.
