Yeah not sure of colour at this stage.
I was originally thinking of going canary or dolly yellow and then doing all the bumpers, wipers, mirrors, interior etc black and go for the bumble bee look, but i'm not 100% sure of that now. I really wanna keep the chrome look so i'm gonna go something darker i reckon, maybe similar to what i have but like a dark blue/purple sort of look which i think would look great with chrome fittings and the wheels i have. Kind of like the s14 blue/purple that came out. Engine wise i will be going a15 with a gx oval port head(if i can get a hold of one) mild port with twin side draught 40's. Few other little bits and pieces of course, extractors, new radiator, electronic ignition etc etc. Would love a 5 speed 2 but may be hoping for 2 much there. Could go on all day with other little bits and pieces. First thing to be done is new struts and front brake upgrade so i will be on the look out for 120y struts, sway bar, stanza lower control arms etc shortly. Then she will be lowered, diff reconditioned just to be sure, steering components replaced then it's spray job time. Anyways better stop now before i get to excited. Cheers Trav

Cheers Trav, I was keen, and this was a car Kirstie would have let me buy.
What colour you going with champ, and when will the beast be painted? Plus you got any further plans for her now you're allowed to fix her up?

Hey guys,
It is with the greatest joy that i can announce that my ute is no longer for sale. My old man had a word with his super rich sister and she has agreed to lend me and the fiance the 5g's we needed to have enough for a deposit on our place!!!! So that means i can now keep the ute and carry on with it's restoration!!! Respray coming soon!!!YAAAAAHOOOOOO! Apologies to any serious prospective buyers. Rich relatives...... Bloody stinges when it comes to presents and the like but always good for an interest free loan, oh yeah and for rides in their twin turbo powered, 480kw, '85 porsche!!!! Lucky bastards!!! Cheers Trav
