ok i might venture to the wreckers on the weekend then... am currently running twin webers so i will most likely just rig up a catch can

the pipe is just jammed in there and siliconed sort of around. if you really try you could yany one out after a few years.
the oil onto the extractors would make a heap of smoke. get a short pice of metal pipe on there and a hose to the pcv valve into the inlet manifold... t might be there sucking in air if there is no pipe hooked up to it. if our running the stock carby still.

gday fellas after a decent drive in the coupe, i was told that there was a heap of smoke as i took off, now after pulling over and inspecting i found oil over the firewall and running down the chassis rail, upon further inspection when i got home, i discovered it had come straight out of the rocker cover filter/breather, wich lead me to the pcv from the side of the block, there is no pipe (just a hole in the side of the block) coming from the hole like on my ute.
my first question is, how is the pipe held in their eg thread or tapered etc?? and wouldve the oil coming from the hole and then hitting the extractors caused alot of smoke? cheers, blake You can view topic.
