yeah thats what iv heard too wardy.. well ventalated.. my engineer also said something about changing the class of my ute. meaning i cant carry heavy loads and i can use low profile tyres and big rims. i havnt worried about it too much, a bloke is doing me up a stainless droptank eventually. and it spends more time in the shop then on the road at the moment so it doesnt cost much in fuel haha

i am goin ta run one in my CA 1200 ute.. i have already checked with the egineer and he said it is fine if it is well ventilated as luke just said.. he also said he MAY have to put a note on the certificate that i cant carry heavy/solid loads in the back..

Best to check with the engineer u plan ta use as they all allow different things

The search button is fantastic, should help you out heaps.

The rules are more than likely different state to state. In NSW they're fine as long as they're well ventilated, meaning if it's tray mounted you can't have a tonneau cover.
